1. Subscription and Tokens

1.1 Monthly Subscription

  • Your subscription renews automatically each month
  • Access to TLDR features based on your subscription plan
  • Cancel anytime through your account settings
  • No refunds for partially used subscription periods

1.2 Token System

  • Each subscription includes a monthly token allowance
  • Token amount varies by subscription tier
  • Unused monthly tokens expire at the end of each billing cycle
  • Additional “top-up” tokens can be purchased separately
  • Top-up tokens expire 3 months from purchase date

2. Account Terms

  • You must be 13 or older to use TLDR
  • Provide accurate account information
  • Responsible for maintaining account security
  • One person per account unless explicitly authorized

3. Acceptable Use

  • Don’t use TLDR for illegal purposes
  • Don’t attempt to breach security
  • Don’t interfere with other users’ access
  • Don’t redistribute or resell summaries
  • Don’t attempt to exceed or circumvent token limits

4. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but don’t guarantee it
  • We may modify features with notice
  • We may terminate service to abusive accounts
  • We’ll provide reasonable notice of significant changes

5. Payment Terms

  • Processed securely through Stripe
  • Automatic monthly renewal
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Price changes announced 30 days in advance
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

6. Content and Copyright

  • You retain rights to your content
  • Grant us license to process content for summaries
  • Responsible for content you submit
  • We may remove illegal or violating content

7. Privacy and Data

  • See our Privacy Policy for data handling details
  • We use Google for authentication
  • We collect analytics to improve service
  • We don’t track browsing history

8. Disclaimers

  • Summaries are AI-generated and may contain errors
  • Service provided “as is” without warranties
  • Not responsible for accuracy of summarized content
  • Not liable for decisions based on summaries

9. Termination

  • You can cancel anytime
  • We may terminate for terms violations
  • We may discontinue service with reasonable notice
  • No refunds for termination due to violations

10. Changes to Terms
